Энэ айлчлал Монгол Улс, Бүгд Найрамдах Итали Улс хооронд дипломат харилцаа тогтоосны 55 жилийн ойн хүрээнд болж байна.

Ромын эзэнт гүрнээс улбаатай Бүгд Найрамдах Итали Улс 1861 онд хаант засаглалтай нэгдсэн улсаа байгуулсан түүхтэй. 1946 онд бүх нийтийн санал асуулгаар Бүгд Найрамдах засаглал сонгосон нь өнөөгийн “Их-7”-ийн бүлгийн гишүүн, улс төр, эдийн засгийн нөлөө бүхий улс болох үндэс суурь болжээ.

Австри, Франц, Гэгээн Ширээт Улс, Сан Марино, Словени, Швейцар зэрэг улстай хиллэдэг. НАТО, Европын Холбооны Улсын голлох гишүүн орны нэг. 59 сая хүн амтай.
