Энэ удаагийн ажлын айлчлал нь Монгол Улс 2026 онд зохион байгуулах Цөлжилттэй тэмцэх тухай НҮБ-ын конвенцын Талуудын 17 дугаар бага хурал (COP17)-ын бэлтгэл ажлыг хангах, уур амьсгалын өөрчлөлт, газрын доройтол, цөлжилттэй тэмцэх чиглэлээр олон улсын хамтын ажиллагааг өргөжүүлэх, санхүүжилт, хөрөнгө оруулалт, технологийн дэмжлэг татах зорилготой юм.

Энэ хүрээнд Уур амьсгалын өөрчлөлт, цөлжилттэй тэмцэх чиглэлээр хоёр улсын хамтын ажиллагааг шинэ шатанд гаргах, Ногоон санхүүжилт, нүүрстөрөгчийн зах зээл, нөхөн сэргээлт, ойн аж ахуй, цэвэр технологийн чиглэлээр хамтарсан төслүүдийг хэлэлцэх хүрээнд БОУАӨ-ийн сайд Б.Батбаатар БНХАУ-ын Экологи, хүрээлэн буй орчны сайд болон Усны нөөцийн сайдтай хоёр талт уулзалт хийнэ.

Мөн Монгол Улсын уур амьсгалын бодлого, олон улсын үүрэг амлалтын хэрэгжилтийг хангах, ногоон хөрөнгө оруулалт татах, бүс нутгийн хамтын ажиллагааг бэхжүүлэх зорилгоор Бээжинд Монгол Улсыг хавсран суугаа орнуудын Элчин сайдуудад Цөлжилттэй тэмцэх тухай НҮБ-ын конвенцын Талуудын 17 дугаар бага хурал (COP17)-ыг танилцуулах арга хэмжээг зохион байгуулна.

Түүнчлэн Монгол Улсын уур амьсгалын бодлого, олон улсын үүрэг амлалтын хэрэгжилтийг хангах, ногоон хөрөнгө оруулалт татах, бүс нутгийн хамтын ажиллагааг бэхжүүлэх хүрээнд Базелийн конвенцийн Ази, Номхон далайн бүсийн төв (Basel Convention Regional Center-China) болон Монгол Улсын Байгаль орчин, уур амьсгалын өөрчлөлтийн яам хоорондын Харилцан ойлголцлын санамж бичиг байгуулахаар төлөвлөөд байна.
