ОХУ-ын Ерөнхийлөгч В.Путин 5-р сарын 8-нд ялалтын баярыг угтаж түр гал зогсоохоо мэдэгдлээ. Түр гал зогсоох хугацаа 5-р сарын 8-ны өглөөнөөс 5-р сарын 11 хүртэл үргэлжилнэ гэж Кремлийн хэвлэлийн албанаас мэдэгдээд байна. Энэ мэдэгдлийн дараа Украины Гадаад хэргийн сайд Андрий Сыбиха “ Гурав хоног гал зогсоох нь дэндүү богино, дор хаяж 30 хоног гал зогсоох”-ыг ОХУ-д уриаллаа. 

ОХУ-ын зүгээс Улаан өндөгний баярын үеэр 30 цагийн хугацаатай гал зогсоосон. Энэ хугацаанд талууд бага зэрэг амсхийж, амины хохирол бага үзсэн боловч гал зогсооход мөрдөгдөх ёстой зарим дүрэм зөрчигдөж, бие биенээ буруутгаж байсан юм.
